As you may know, snowboarding is a sport that appeals to young males for the most part.

So how will the image be affected if older people take up the sport? Can the appeal of snowboarding be expanded to a more diverse audience?

I live in Massachusetts and trying to plan a weekend long snowboarding trip for me and my girlfriend for our anniversary. I'm looking to get 2 nights, rent snowboard equipment, get some lessons, and have a jacuzzi or hot tub in the room. Any ideas?

Well I really got interested in snowboarding and I plan to go to my out of town slopes and try it out. First do you need to take lessons or is it just sliding down? Second what are really good snowboards?(I already seen quite a few burton boards) Is there any certain clothing requirements? Also is it to late to start snowboarding? Also I'm 13 should I use the youth boards?
I want a good quality board that isn't expensive.

What is the average or highest and lowest costs for a snowboarding package? I am a beginner so I would like a lower/not as expensive brand, but still need quality. Included in the snowboarding package are:

Snowboard
Bindings
Boots (I wear a size 13)
+(optional) Goggles

I want to go snowboarding next spring break and I want to take a few friends or maybe st 1..idk yet.
And I've never gone snowboarding so how much would u estimate of driving to Colorado for a family of 4 and 1 friend?
And how much is it to rent a snowboard and anything else?
